| About Us Sunfish Valley Whitetails is located in the small town of Latham, Ohio. We are a family owned business. It is our belief that there is a desire by the American sportsman, who uses the outfitting industry, for a top quality, no hassle, trophy whitetail hunting experience, in the US! We offer : A hunt where the ground isn't over hunted. A hunt where your stand isn't sitting on someone else's property line A hunt with well managed property that has mature whitetails. We own (not lease) over 15,000 acres of prime whitetail habitat in Pike, Adams, Ross, Highland, and Scioto counties. Owning the land, versus leasing it means that any improvements we make to our properties are not going to disappear when the lease runs out. We don't have to pay expenive land leases so we don't have to play the numbers game that most other outfitters do. We also believe that every hunter that books a hunt with us should receive a personal, high quality hunt, with comfortable lodging, good food, and a relaxing, small camp atmosphere, during your stay. Ohio is home to the new, pending world record "Beatty Buck, "Amish Buck", and the"Hole in the Horn Buck". Rack Magazine ranks Ohio second to only Illinios for the number of Pope & Young and Boone & Crockett bucks harvested over the past five years. The difference between the two is obvious.
